Northern Beaches Secondary College (NBSC) comprises five secondary school campuses located on the Northern Beaches of Sydney. We are proud to be part of a strong, connected network of public schools committed to providing inclusive, high-quality education for every learner.
We are able to offer our community a selection of local campus options, with the bonus of additional collective college educational opportunities.
Junior curriculum: Years 7 - 10 across our college
With our specialist facilitites at each campus, Northern Beaches Secondary College offers students a full range of elective subjects, differentiated learning opportuntities, extensive co-curricular activities and student leadership opportunities.

NBSC Manly Campus operates under NSW Selective Schools rules and applicants need to satisfy entry requirements via the Department of Education High Performance Unit processes.
Year 7 to 10 students can experience a vast range of collaborative, learning opportunities that require students to engage with complex concepts and problems, incorporating teamwork, research, iterative design and effective communication.
Project Penguin
A partnership project and peer mentoring initiative where students support and guide younger learners from our local primary schools.
Co-curricular and sporting clubs
Our co-curricular programs inspire students to discover their passions, develop holistically, and build essential life skills such as leadership, teamwork and communication.
Students can explore a wide range of clubs and enrichment groups, including mixed-year opportunities, that extend learning in areas such as robotics, creative writing, dance, philosophy and advanced STEM.
Duke of Edinburgh program
NBSC Partners with YouthAdvance to offer the prestigious Duke of Ed to all NBSC students aged 14-18.
The internationally recognised framework, enhances student resumes and opens doors to university pathways, scholarships and future employment opportunities.

Innovative senior curriculum - Years 11 & 12
Shared senior curriculum
Our shared senior curriculum is a distinctive and innovative feature of Northern Beaches Secondary College, giving Year 11 and Year 12 students access to subjects across all five campuses. This collaborative model provides an exceptional breadth of course options and supports personalised pathways for every learner.
Our College offers a full range of study areas in the senior years, matching individual abilities, interests and goals. NBSC has enrolments in Years 11 and 12 at all campuses. A full range of Board Developed Courses (BDCs), VET Frameworks, Board Endorsed Courses (BECs) and Extension courses are offered.

- College bus provides transport between campuses
- Students can access TAFE NSW
These courses are referred to as cross campus courses and students are required to travel to various campuses for their selected course.

This innovative cross-campus curriculum is made possible by the Northern Beaches Secondary College Bus, which transports students between campuses throughout the day.
The bus operates on a regular timetable, ensuring smooth, reliable and efficient travel for all students.
