Mackellar Girls Campus has a long history dating back to its time as a standalone girls’ high school named after the famous Australian poet Dorothea Mackellar. The school embodies her spirit of creativity, independence, and love for learning. Over the decades, Mackellar Girls has evolved to provide a modern education while holding onto its tradition of nurturing young women’s leadership, resilience, and intellectual curiosity.

The school’s administration area showcases it’s proud legacy, featuring memorabilia, trophies, and recognises academic achievements of past graduates who have gained entry to competitive university courses in fields such as medicine, law, engineering, science, business, and the arts.

Our classrooms are equipped with Interactive multitouch display screens and supported by strong wireless connectivity. The air-conditioned library offers extensive physical and digital resources, printing services, computers, and quiet study areas. Specialist facilities with modern technology cater to music, digital media, STEM, TAS, art, and science.

The school also offers outstanding performance and sporting facilities. The performance space, equipped with professional lighting and sound provides a dynamic space which hosts concerts and major productions throughout the year. The multipurpose hall provides a venue for assemblies, extra classroom activities, and exams. A range of outdoor courts and flexible indoor areas support netball, basketball, and an extensive selection of curricular and extra-curricular sports programs, ensuring students have ample opportunities to stay active and engaged.
