What is a P&C
P&C stands for Parents & Citizens Association and is a group of parents, carers and school community members.
Our P&C assists with school planning, fundraising, events and volunteering and works in partnership with our school to promote the interests of our school community.
Funds are obtained predominantly through a voluntary subscription scheme and various fund raising initiatives held throughout the year.
Funds are used for technology equipment and infrastructure, specific support into key learning areas, and for sponsoring of school events.
Aims
The Association aims are:
- To promote the interest of the school by bringing parents, citizens, students and teaching staff into close co-operation; and
- To assist in providing facilities and equipment for the school and in promoting the recreation and welfare of the students at the school.
The mission of the P&C is to:-
- Facilitate communication and social interaction across the school community.
- Celebrate and support the diverse multicultural community at the school.
- Promote the recreation and welfare of the students at the school.
- Encourage parent and community participation in educational outcomes.
- Assist in providing facilities and equipment for the school where needs arise.
- Provide a voice for parents and the community in major decisions concerning the school.

Our P&C manage a website which includes information on meeting dates, upcoming events and contact details. Find out how you can get involved.
Meetings
Meetings are open to attendance by all parents and other community members and will give you the opportunity to meet other parents and staff members.
There will often be presentations by speakers, including teachers and year advisers, on topics that are of interest.
They provide opportunity to learn more about the activities of the P&C, and also to provide input to areas of focus.
P&C meetings are scheduled on the 3rd and 8th Tuesday of each term from 7:15pm in the executive meeting room accessed via the office.
