Pathways
Cromer Campus
Year 10 students are exploring career pathways and participating in TAFE Start Your Future short courses.
Year 10 students at Cromer have been busy exploring career pathways and planning for the future this term!
A number of students are currently participating in TAFE Start Your Future short courses in Hospitality, Carpentry, and Hair & Beauty. These programs provide students with valuable exposure to a TAFE-style learning environment and vocational education pathways connected to future study and career interests.
Students have also been engaging in one-on-one Pathway Interviews with a specialist Stage 6 teacher — a unique Cromer initiative designed to support subject selection, goal setting, and future planning for Stage 6 and beyond.
In preparation for Work Experience at the end of term, Year 10 students also participated in a Job Readiness Workshop, developing fundamental employability skills and learning how to conduct themselves in a professional workplace environment. There were plenty of fun challenges and engaging stories shared along the way!
A big thank you to Matt Dolan and the EPP team for supporting these initiatives and helping provide our students with high-quality learning experiences in career education and pathway planning.
