The Cromer Campus Library is an inclusive, dynamic learning environment that supports academic achievement, stimulates creativity, builds literacy skills and nurtures a lifelong love of learning.

The Cromer Campus school library plays a vital role in fostering student success by offering much more than just books.

We help students succeed in school and learn important skills for their future. We are committed to providing an optimal educational environment and excellent service to the whole school community, through the provision of a supportive, inclusive space for learning and growth., quality teaching and learning, and resources that support the curriculum of the school and the wider interests of its community.

What the Library offers

 Access to a range of resources

The library has fiction and non-fiction books, graphic novels and manga, magazines and more so that students can find something that interests them, whether it’s for school work or just for fun. The library also has a range of study guides and resources for Senior Students. The library also curates access to online resources such as Atomi (online study) and Clickview (video resources) that students can use anytime, even from home.

Help with research and finding information

Through Library lessons students learn how to search for good, trustworthy information, how to use computers and the internet safely and how to use the information properly in their work. Students can ask the Teacher Librarian for assistance with research skills. The Teacher Librarian is available to provide assistance with research, finding reading material and help with assessments and class tasks.

A quiet and friendly place to study and work together

The library is a calm and welcoming place where students can study quietly or work with their friends on group projects. It has different sections for reading, studying, or talking. The library is a place where all students feel safe and included.

Encourages reading and learning for life

The library helps students enjoy reading by offering many interesting books and programs like book clubs or author visits. Reading helps students become better thinkers and learners. The library also encourages students to keep learning new things, not just at school but throughout their lives.

What’s on in the CC Library

●       Homework Society runs after school on Tuesdays and Wednesdays 3:00pm - 4:15pm

●       Book Club

●       Maker Space

●       Games Club

●       IT support can be found in the library, Monday to Friday during school time.
